My full name is "Ali Razzaq Chaudhry". I was born in Lahore Pakistan, on the 23rd July. After getting my early education in Jehlum, Sialkot, Kasur and Sheikhupura Districts, I got my Intermediate degree from P.C.C. Lahore, BBA and MBA degrees from NCBA & E.

In 1998, I felt like creating an Urdu greeting cards website, despite the fact I had no earlier programming experiences. I started with CGI, which was quiet tough for an amateur, and HTML. Within few months, I launched my first website UrduCards.com with the help and great support of my brothers. UrduCards was a big Hit, the response was tremendous.

We launched UrduPoint.com on the 14th August 2000. Alhumdulillah UrduPoint is now the largest Urdu website of the world, with daily thousands of web-visitors. UrduPoint has given us unbelievable fame and confidence. In 2004 we launched eMarkaz.com, the first online shopping mall of Pakistan. Every day, we serve hundreds of customers through eMarkaz.

My Father, Chaudhry Abdul Razzaq, was in Punjab Police, and retired as SP Police Lahore. My loving mother is a house wife. I have two elder brothers and sister. I am the youngest. My family, especially my father and mother, supported me on every step of my life. My father could not see the growth of my projects, as he died in 2002. Whatever I am today, it’s all due to my parents prayers. My mother is my source of inspiration, she taught me writing articles.

My friends circle is very limited, due to my excentric attitude, I do not get along with every one! My childhood friends are still with me (thanks God). I can be mean at times, but do not betray my friends.

I love travelling; I have been to many places like Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Brussels, Macau, Dubai,…But my Umrah was unforgettable, Madina is the most beautiful city I've ever been to... I must recognise that, wherever I go, I miss my country, especially Lahore! Nothing stands beside Lahore!. Lahore Lahore hai* ! I am a pure Lahori, food lover, fun lover, Shisha** lover... I love going out, meeting people, exploring new places!

Reading books is a passion, especially historic books and novels. The list of my favourite writers is pretty long! I was used to read a lot of poetry, but now days, I hardly get time for such literature.
 

My future could be very bright, or a big failure! I have huge plans for my future, but due to lack of resources and encouragements in Pakistan, I am a little bit disappointed. I do not see any growth in business here, and many stupid and pathetic restrictions make me really sad! Despite this fact I am still trying and working.
